Explores the range of symptoms, distortions and discomfort related to Irlen syndrome
Establishes the best single or combination of Irlen overlay colour
Would establish the need for other initial accommodations such as paper colour, screen filters and appropriate lighting

This is the overlay determination stage.

Irlen Screenings are carried out by specialist Irlen screeners. The assessment will identify symptoms and determine how these difficulties are impacting upon daily life.

Irlen Screeners are trained to assess whether an individual has a profile consistent with Irlen Syndrome and advise on chosen overlay(s) colour, paper colour and other initial accommodations
